Ariane Bankes will be in discussion with our Les Hurst about the new edition of Arthur Koestler’s ‘Darkness at Noon’ and D J Taylor’s ‘Lost Girls: Love, War and Literature 1939-1951’. Ariane is the niece of Arthur Koestler, who married her aunt Mamaine, and daughter of George Orwell’s friend and Mamaine’s twin, Celia Paget. _____________________________________
